Modernizing an Existing Site

Hank and Dale, the owners of Alaska Stone Care, reached out to us about modernizing their existing website. They wanted to keep up with the current standards online website have today. Working with them, we broke it down into a couple simple phases their tight budget could manage one step at a time.

First, we rebuilt their existing website to feel more modern and be mobile friendly. We also added in their new services.

For step 2, we have created a contingency plan to make their site extra Google-licious with their next budget.

When you get a chance check out their new website:

When Less is More.

Owners Brian & Pam have their condo listed on a Maui Owner Condos site but wanted to extend their reach by having a web page of their own. The new website needed to be simple and informative, and also have an availability calendar integrated.

We built them a navigable one-page website that included all of the information required, in a crisp clean layout. We integrated an availability calendar that syncs with the one Brian & Pam use on their Maui Owner Condos site so they only need to update one calendar in one place.

Achievements:
– Integrated Availability Calendar
– Fast Hosting – Used WP Engine
– Clean Organization of Content & Navigation – used one-page website design with informational sections you can easily navigate

Working With A Local BnB

Owner Sue is just starting out with her Stained Glass B&B and needed a website that she could refer people to when marketing her business.

http://stainedglassbnb.com/

Stained Glass Bed and Breakfast is an iconic architect designed Girdwood property and we wanted to bring the visuals to the forefront as well as giving users all the necessary information. Sue also wanted to give visitors information on Girdwood and the activities available there.

We made a simple 3-page website that showcases the property & features a Things to Do in Girdwood section. The B&B is listed on Airbnb, the website encourages visitors to either contact Sue directly or to book on B&B via direct links out to her listing. We also integrated an availability calendar that syncs with her Airbnb account, so will automatically update.

Achievements/Challenges:
– Beautiful Photographs
– Market the BnB and the local town, Girdwood
– Give visitors multiple booking options
– Integrated Availability Calendar

Website in a day

Proud to announce the re-launch of our local newspaper website. Made by OTC & Girdwood.com founder Matt B. The site was almost completely made in 10 hours yesterday, in order to complete before today’s bi-weekly publication of the printed version on the paper.

The site is totally Googlelicious and will continue to be refined to make the great local content shine.

Simple, On Budget & Effective

Quick and effective small budget websites are possible if done right! Recently, we put together a new site for Z Denise Gallup. She was a delight to work with.

Denise required a site that was artsy in her own way, simple with lots of white space, large text, a clear path for her clients to follow, a mega menu option (reference 3rd image below) and an online scheduler built into the website. The big restricting factor was a tight budget. We created a plan, divided up tasks and conquered!

OTC took on the role of building and constructing Denise’s new website to meet her standards. The client agreed to complete the data entry in the third party scheduler. We came in afterwards and linked the third party scheduler to her website and customized its appearance to match. The end result was a success!

Alaska Wild Harvest – Our latest E-Commerce Project

At the beginning of the summer, Dulce and Michael reached out to us about redoing their ancient e-commerce website. We had an instant taking to this likable couple and were excited to help them give their online presence a makeover!

The client went from using a Yahoo Business Online Store to a modern WordPress WooCommerce e-store. This isn’t just a website that sells products, but also a website that provides a wealth of information about wild harvest products made in Alaska. It took lots of planning, teamwork, and organization, but we are both very happy with the results!

Check out their new mobile-friendly, modern and streamlined website: www.alaskabirchsyrup.com
