Reliving Alaska’s Gold Rush

We’re excited to share a project that’s close to our hearts. We had the pleasure of redeveloping the website for Crow Creek Gold Mine, a local gem and a favorite summer destination for tourists. As a Girdwood-based team, working with such an iconic spot was a real treat for us.

Enhancing Quality of Life in Alaska

It was a pleasure collaborating with Jennifer and Cassi from the Richard M and Diane L Block Foundation on their new website. Their foundation supports cultural, arts, and social services organizations that enrich the well-being of Alaskans. We’re pleased we could help them by showcasing their impactful work online.

Turning Tragedy into Action

Founded by Clinical Psychologist Sandy Snodgrass, the AK Fentanyl Response Project was born out of personal tragedy. In 2021, Sandy’s son Bruce was tragically lost to fentanyl poisoning. Since then, Sandy has channeled her grief into a powerful mission: raising awareness, advocating for legislative change, and emphasizing the importance of Naloxone Kit availability and training.

When Sandy approached us for a simple, quick-turnaround website to help deliver her message, we were honored to assist. Her work is crucial and will undoubtedly save lives. We’re proud to support Sandy in her vital mission and help her spread this important message.

Paws for a Cause

It’s been a few years since any of the OTC team have visited New Zealand, but our connections there remain strong. When an old friend decided to launch a charity dedicated to helping struggling families feed their pets, she reached out to us for website design. We were pleased to be part of such a meaningful project. Not only did we get to contribute to a fantastic cause, but we also had fun working with countless adorable animal photos.

We’re proud of how the website turned out, and our friend is, too! You can check it out here >>

Mapping Success for KMTA

We recently worked with the Kenai Mountains Turnagain Arm National Heritage Area (KMTA) on a new maps project for their website. The interactive maps cover the Heritage Area from Indian to Seward and Whittier to Cooper Landing, highlighting the grants KMTA has awarded to support local organizations and projects. These grants are focused on preserving the area’s natural, cultural, and historic resources.

Explore the new maps pages to learn more about KMTA’s grants and how they are contributing to the region.

Reviving Historic Hot Springs

Northern Compass Group decided to transition the webmaster role for their Hot Springs and associated Accommodation Properties to a new web design firm with specialized experience in travel and tourism websites. We were pleased to step into this role and update their existing websites. During the cold Alaskan winters, it’s especially nice to immerse ourselves in the warmth of hot springs through the screen, making the chilly weather a bit more bearable.
