Silvertip Lodge & Cabins Website

Longtime OTC client Jeremy Anderson from Drift Away Fishing Guides and his wife Andrea purchased Silvertip Lodge and Cabins in the spring of 2016.

They already had the infrastructure for a website set up from a previous venture so they asked us to design and build them a website based on that. The OTC team rose to the challenge and made a simple website that would be ready to go live ASAP.

Since then we’ve worked on the website regularly, adding more layers of detail and increasing functionality. Most recently we expanded their fishing trips, travel packages and guided adventures sections, separating them out and developing them into individual, detailed & SEO optimized landing pages for each activity.

Alaskan Dream Ventures Website

Alaskan Dream Ventures is an Alaskan small ship cruise boat based out of the quaint fishing community of Homer, Alaska. They specialize in transporting their guests into parts of Alaska that very few, if any, people ever venture.

Alaskan Dream Ventures came to OTC with a site they claimed looked and felt a bit outdated. They requested a mobile-friendly site that highlights all the benefits of small boat cruising in Alaska.

Up to the task, the OTC team moved the Alaskan Dream Ventures’ existing HTML site to a fun, mobile-friendly WordPress site. OTC redesigned the website to show off all the activities available aboard the Dream Catcher and highlight the extent of possibilities with small boat cruising.

Montague Marine Research Website

Based out of Cordova in Prince William Sound, Alaska, Montague Marine Research facilitates scientific research aboard the 58’ R/V Montague.

They had a simple website that showcased their vessel and its research capabilities, however, in 2015 they realized their site needed to be updated to make it mobile-friendly. Rather than try to fix the site they had, the folks at Montague opted for a website re-design using existing structure and content.

The OTC team quickly came up with a new design that met all Mobile-friendly guidelines and produced a new website that retains the look and feel of their previous one, but is more up to date and clean.

Alaska Sea Kayakers Website

Peter Denmark owns and operates Alaska Sea Kayakers in Prince William Sound, Alaska.

He teamed up with Jay Doyle from Chugach Outdoor Center and together they asked OTC to make new websites for their respective businesses. We were able to offer them a discounted bundle rate to make their websites together both based on the same design to save hours.

We’re proud to say that with regular yearly updates both websites have stood the test of time and still do all the heavy lifting for their businesses.

GBA Refining Website

Gold Buyers Alaska (GBA) Refining are buyers and assayers of all precious metals, coins, and diamonds.

In 2014 their business was growing, they were opening a 3rd location in Fairbanks, Alaska, and so they decided the time had come to improve their online presence.

OTC designed them a simple, easy to navigate website that gives all the pertinent information to potential clients, from how the process works, to what kind of assets they buy. Clients can easily find information on their 3 locations and can get in touch if needed.

Alaska Butcher Equipment & Supply Website

Alaska Butcher Equipment & Supply are famous in fishing and hunting circles in Alaska. Their business offers all the vacuum packing equipment, knives, sharpeners, smokers, sausage making & game processing equipment you could need.

When they approached OTC to talk about a new website, they wanted to develop an online store that would sync with their in-store POS system. A key requirement was that staff were able to do all the updates themselves going forward. So we made sure the new website was easy to update and provided training.

It was a big job as they have 100’s of products and we met plenty of challenges along the way, but we’re happy to say the completed website runs seamlessly with the shop inventory and POS. This has been especially important and paid off for them during 2020 and the COVID 19 Pandemic.
