Seldovia Village Tribe Website

Seldovia Village Tribe prioritizes providing services and supports for the people of the Kachemak Bay area.

In 2018 they put out a request for proposals to redesign all three of their websites. As a normal part of our process, we spend time researching our potential clients, and we were so impressed by the work the Seldovia Village Tribe were doing for their community, we knew right away we wanted a chance to work with them! Luckily for us, they liked our proposal.

The team designed three websites that have a similar feel in terms of layouts, imagery, design and typography, but that function differently from one another to address the unique needs of the visitors for each one.

1st Alaska Tours Video Shoots

1st Alaska Tours wanted to enhance their website and marketing campaign with professionally shot video clips highlighting the Top 10 Things to do in Fairbanks, Alaska.

They were also in need of a comprehensive video to showcase their tours at the tour shows they attend throughout the year.

OTC organized and managed two separate multi-day video shoots and produced engaging and informative marketing videos for their site.

Kodiak Deer Hunt Website & Google Work

Captain Chad at Kodiak Deer Hunts with C&M Marine was in need of a website that gave his potential clients a look into a week of hunting with him, as well as easily accessible information on how to be completely prepared and book a trip.

The team focused on getting Chad’s story and putting it into the website, to give clients an idea of who he is and what it’s like aboard his fishing vessel.

We settled on a clean and attractive design that showcases past trips and explains the luxuries clients will experience aboard the Naknek Spirit. There is an FAQ page which helps hunters prepare for their trip, and links to go straight to the source for the appropriate hunting license and tags.

Throughout the website build, we incorporated detailed Google Optimization work so that Capt. Chad’s site will show up ahead of his competitors.

Greer Tank Photo Shoot

In early planning discussions with Greer Tank about their new website, it became apparent to the OTC team that they had very little in the way of inspirational photography that would portray their story.

Not a problem! OTC photographer, Thom Mace, got straight to work on a three-location photo shoot, first traveling to Greer’s Lakewood plant in Washington State, then to Fairbanks, Alaska, where the Greer Tank business began, and finishing up in their Anchorage facility.

We’re sure you’ll agree, the resulting images take the Greer Tank website to the next level.

Alaska Birch Syrup Photo Shoot & Website

In the small, quirky town of Talkeetna, resides an all Alaskan gift shop known for their birch syrup, functional aesthetic art, and tasty treats, such as locally made ice cream! Dulce and Michael East have been harvesting birch syrup in Alaska since 1990, and they now sell it online and in gift shops around Alaska.

Dulce and Michael contacted OTC in 2017, ready to take their self-built, small Yahoo e-commerce store to the next level. We worked with their team to rebuild and reorganize their store. It now offers their customers a clean, simple, and secure online shopping experience while keeping the Easts’ personal and unique feel.

The website makeover included new photos of all the products and of the Taste & Tour giftshop. Our photography department, Bacon & Cheese Productions, organized, staged, and photographed all 57 of their products.
