88 Energy’s Risky Business Website

The Alaska Wilderness League is a coalition of several like-minded groups.

They wanted to publish a website that gave accurate Information to potential investors of the 88 Energy project – a project to develop oil and gas in the Arctic Refuge.

As well as reaching potential investors, they wanted the website to inform undecided legislators, media new to the beat, concerned people of Alaska, and all peoples impacted by the project

The idea behind the website was to make a business case to avoid extreme risks of the project, and create transparency around “Tract 29” misnomer.

OTC worked closely with their team to put together a visually and information-rich website that laid out the facts for all to see.

Pam’s Carrots Website

Pam’s Carrots is well known throughout Alaska but had previously been available only in larger stores.

In an effort to meet the needs of her most ardent customers, Pam shifted her business plan to ensure her carrots are available for on-farm sales and smaller stores. With varying supply at different locations, she needed a place to let customers know when and where they could be purchased.

OTC designed and built a clean and simple website that not only tells her story but allows her to easily update the ‘Where to Buy’ page, keeping her customers informed.

John Vliet Website

John Vliet was in need of a website that would make it easy for his potential sitters to learn a little about him and set up an appointment.

The OTC team worked with him to find the best scheduling tool for his needs, and then we seamlessly embedded it into his website. We went with Acuity Scheduling, which enables John to easily manage his appointments and enables clients to schedule and process payments easily.

Poki Charters Website

Prince William Sound boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Alaska. Captain Dave, wife Patty Hamre, and their daughter, Kate, are lucky enough to run their Poki Charters small-boat cruises in these pristine waters.

They are excited to share this amazing place with customers and wanted a website that gave people a taste of the beauty and the adventures to be had. They also wanted to make booking a cruise simple and straightforward.

The OTC team made a simple website that shows off their stunning images by using them as large format, static backgrounds on each page. We also made them a simple booking form and availability calendar to meet the easy booking requirement.

Quick Draw Website

Quick Draw Window Cleaning had a problem. They loved their brand, story, and western aesthetic, but their old, static, one-page website wasn’t Google or mobile-friendly.

The team at OTC went to work and reorganized their information into a simple and easy-to-navigate, mobile-friendly five-page website. The new website not only retains the story and brand they love but actually enhances it.

At their request, we included a handy calculator so customers could estimate the cost of having windows cleaned at their house or business. Simple, fundamental Google work completed the process.

He is passionate about criminal law, and making sure people know their rights when being questioned by a police officer is his top priority. He wanted this message to be front and center of his new website.
