Girdwood.com Website

The OTC team thinks their home town of Girdwood, Alaska is a pretty special place. Sadly, until a few years ago, there wasn’t a single online presence that showcased our beloved town and provided useful information to residents and potential visitors.

Having identified the need for a website for all things Girdwood, we got together with a few like-minded individuals to design one. The vision was for a go-to resource that would serve locals and visitors alike.

Today, not only is girdwood.com number one in Google with a growing total of over 4000 visitors monthly, it is also recognized as the number one resource for our town. Problem solved!

Kodiak Deer Hunt Website & Google Work

Captain Chad at Kodiak Deer Hunts with C&M Marine was in need of a website that gave his potential clients a look into a week of hunting with him, as well as easily accessible information on how to be completely prepared and book a trip.

The team focused on getting Chad’s story and putting it into the website, to give clients an idea of who he is and what it’s like aboard his fishing vessel.

We settled on a clean and attractive design that showcases past trips and explains the luxuries clients will experience aboard the Naknek Spirit. There is an FAQ page which helps hunters prepare for their trip, and links to go straight to the source for the appropriate hunting license and tags.

Throughout the website build, we incorporated detailed Google Optimization work so that Capt. Chad’s site will show up ahead of his competitors.

Guide Kenai River Website

Alaska Drift Away Fishing Guides are one of our longest-standing clients, and their Guide Kenai River website has evolved with us since 2006, as we have provided a yearly update program and two complete redesigns to the website since then.

This year, they decided it was time to get their website onto a WordPress platform so it’s easier to manage and keep up-to-date in the future.

Using their existing content and structure, we refined pages as we went, enhanced the website with new images and text, and made sure they stay where they need to be with Google rankings.
